If you are renting a vehicle it's worthwhile carrying out some research on the country you are visiting to familiarize yourself with local traffic regulations and driving conditions. For example in Saudi Arabia women are not permitted to drive, some roads in some countries are not tarmaced and only 4 wheel drive vehicles can be rented for use on these roads.
In most countries if a road accident should occur the car cannot be moved until the police arrive. It is essential to obtain a police report ,if this is not obtained then the insurance will be invalidated and the customer will be responsible for the cost of all repairs.
On arriving at the rental location please bring your reservation confirmation (which you can print from your on line reservation), your driving license, credit card and passport. This will allow the Budget counter staff to quickly provide you with a car. We recommend that before signing the rental agreement you ensure any minor damage has been recorded on the rental agreement. A member of staff will be pleased to demonstrate any controls of the car with which you are unfamiliar and make sure you have a contact number in case of an accident or emergency. Please make sure you know whether the vehicle is diesel or petrol as mistakes are costly and will be charged to the customer
